Rawlings’ NRG Quantum™ Football Helmets Feature Triple Technology

Rawlings has combined three of its proven technologies to create the NRG Quantum™ football helmet, available at Rawlings Gear.

The NRG Quantum™ football helmet features Rawlings’ Active Impact Absorption (AIA™), Custom Comfort Cushion (C3™) and Heat Exchange™ technologies.

The three work together to transfer force and heat away from the athlete’s head while actively and passively absorbing impact without structural breakdown to the lightweight absorption system.

AIA™ technology features strategically placed pad sets that ensure comprehensive coverage in a lightweight design. The pad sets work together with an integrated network of communicating channels designed to reduce weight and effectively disperse impact force.  This airbag design does not break down.

C3™ technology was developed from Rawlings’ popular Poron XRD™ and features a customizable inflation liner with two inflation ports that allow for an individual fit.

Heat Exchange™ technology creates maximum temperature control through strategically placed vents that create optimum airflow. The base layer padding system consists of proven, ultra-cushioning closed cell foam with the helmet’s second layer being a vinyl encased comfort liner system designed to ensure a comfortable custom fit.

Additional features are:

• Durable surlyn facemask clips
• Carbon steel wire facemask
• High-impact performance polycarbonate shell
• Stainless steel hardware

Rawlings’ NRG Quantum™ football helmets are available in adult and youth sizes in 16 colors.

Facemasks are included but can also be purchased separately.
