Rawlings’ New Pro Preferred First Base Mitt Features PORON XRD Palm Pad

Rawlings has added a new first base mitt to its Pro Preferred series.
Rawlings’ Pro Preferred First Base baseball glove (model number PROSFMBRX) features a conventional back and a modified Pro HTM web, which helps create a strong pocket so the ball stays in place. At 13", this glove is designed to flatten out wide to trap the ball coming in from any direction.

The PORON® XRD™ palm pad drastically reduces the impact of the ball.

Rawlings Gear customer Lightning1 was has been pleased with the strength of the glove. Calling it a “top-notch glove,” he wrote, “The glove will not get floppy for 1B play and the leather is very supple once broken in.”

All Rawlings’ Pro Preferred gloves leave most of the break-in up to the player. They are designed with supple kipskin leather that provides a smooth look and feel.

The Pittards performance sheepskin lining wicks moisture and sweat away to keep your hand dry and keep your glove in great condition.

Pro Preferred gloves are made to last.

This glove is available for left-handed players under model number PROSFMBRX-RH.

For that extra touch, Rawlings Gear can engrave or personalize this glove.
