Rawlings' Horween 11.75” Glove Features Modified Trap-Eze Web

Rawlings invented its Trap-Eze web in 1959 with the idea of creating a web that was an extension of the glove itself.

A subsequent adjustment to that web, called the Modified Trap-Eze, created a popular web for pitchers and infielders.

Rawlings' Limited Edition 125th Anniversary Horween Premium baseball glove (model number PRO1175LIMITED) features that Modified Trap-Eze web and a conventional back. It measures 11.75”.

The web secures the ball, and its unique lacing filters dirt to ensure a clean, quick ball transfer.

The Horween leather used to create this glove is designed to give the glove a worn, retro look.

Tanned in the United States by the Horween Leather Company, this leather has a quality known as “pull-up,” in which the color of the leather lightens temporarily when pressure is applied.

This glove requires the player to break it in, which allows him to shape it to his liking.

Gloves in Rawlings' Horween Premium 125th anniversary collection are limited edition. Each glove is individually numbered by model and comes with a letter of authenticity.

Each is sold with a key chain, glove stand and luggage tag.
