Rawlings' S100 Helmet Used Exclusively in MLB

Rawlings' new S100® Pro Comp™ batting helmet, used exclusively by Major League Baseball®, continues to uphold Rawlings' legacy as an innovative manufacturer in helmet technology.

The S100® Pro Comp™ helmet (model number S100PCSO) is constructed with an aerospace-grade composite fiber shell that can withstand a baseball impact up to 100 miles per hour.

The aerospace-grade carbon fiber/epoxy resin construction is 300 percent stiffer and 130 times stronger than traditional ABS plastic helmets.

The helmet also features Heat Exchange™ vents, which rapidly circulate cooler ambient air. Top vents quickly move heated air from player’s head, allowing 70 percent more heat to escape.

Rawlings Gear sells the S100® Pro Comp™ helmet in official MLB team colors with team logo.

Due to its single ear design, this helmet is not NOCSAE® certified and is only approved for use at the professional level.

Rawlings' Performance Rating™ batting helmets are designed to protect against impacts up to 100 MPH, 90 MPH, 80 MPH and 70 MPH and are available at Rawlings Gear.

WARNING: Severe head or neck injury, including paralysis or death may occur to you despite using this helmet. No helmet can prevent all head injuries or any neck injuries a player might receive while participating in baseball or softball.
